Learn German - Experience Berlin
Summer is by far the best time to visit Berlin and to learn German. The weather is warm but never hot (75-85 °F) and the sun doesn't set until 9:00 PM, ensuring that the city is vibrant and lively, day and night!
We offer a variety of cultural and
sightseeing activities that supplement your German language course
work and ensure that you have a great experience while in Berlin.
Included are the following: tours - either by bus, boat or bike;
excursions to the Berlin Wall, the Wall Museum and the Stasi Museum;
trips to the Reichstag (parliament building), the Brandenburg Gate
and the Jewish Museum.
We even have a bike trip out to the historically-rich Potsdam, located just outside of Berlin. Grilling and picnics in Berlin's famous parks as well as beach volley ball at our facilities are also part of our German summer course program, as are opportunities to get to know Berlin's nightlife better by going to Berliner „Kneipen“ (pubs) and clubs.
The German courses run from Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. So you will learn German in the morning and will have enough time to get to know Berlin for the rest of the day!

Accommodation
We can help our students find suitable accommodation, however, you must already be registered with us. The Sprachenatelier does not find accommodation without a language course.
Our tip: Live in a WG ( Wohngemeinschaft – flat share) together with German students so that you can get an authentic picture of social life in Berlin and along the way use the language skills that
you have gained in the German course at the Sprachenatelier in conversations with your roommates. Your roommates will also have more tips for shopping, eating and going out as they know Berlin very well.
As Friedrichshain is a very student orientated area accommodation in a guest family is not always near the school. For young students especially we can gladly arrange a guest family.
For those whom comfortable living and total independence is very important we will gladly book you a room in a hotel near the Sprachenatelier. Something to consider however is that independence has its price! More about accommodation here...
