Foreign language courses at the Sprachenatelier Berlin are taught by qualified native speakers. They offer intercultural and communicative lessons, which are especially tailored to your needs and goals. In addition to our well-tried English, French, Hebrew, Italian, Spanish, Polish and Russian classes we offer courses in languages such as Arabic, Hungarian, Japanese, Kurdish, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Persian, Portuguese or Turkish.
A foreign language course in the Institute of Languages, Arts and Culture – the "Sprachenatelier" Berlin – does not just teach you vocabulary and grammar, but intercultural competency, i.e. the ability to interact both sensitively and successfully with people from different cultural backgrounds, and to communicate with people of different nationalities not merely through language.

In order to dismantle cultural barriers, however, both learning another language and improving your knowledge of a particular language is the first step in the right direction. Our language school therefore offers qualified teaching of almost 20 different languages. Depending on your knowledge of the language, you have the choice between a whole range of courses, from absolute beginners to advanced. You might even choose to enrol in a communication or writing course that solely, and thus efficiently improves your spoken or written language respectively. In addition, the Sprachenatelier Berlin e.V. offers preparatory courses for internationally approved language tests, e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, DELF, DELE, TELC, CELI etc.

Our lessons are targeted to the specific needs of each participant as well as to the different demands of everyday life. Our native-speaking teachers use practical methods that will help you respond to all kinds of situations.
