Sprachenatelier Berlin - institute for languages, art and culture

The Sprachenatelier (“Language Studio”) in Berlin is an international center for language learning, cultural exchange, and the exhibition of art. We bring together individuals active in promoting intercultural communication as well as provide artists from around the globe with an environment in which they can learn languages, and display their art work.

The result is a milieu where students become teachers and teachers, students.

We invite authors, film makers, artists, dancers, and those with an affinity for art and culture to make the most of the Sprachenatelier’s creative, relaxed atmosphere. Our aim is simple: to provide a place where you pursue your interests and develop your talents in a communicative, globally oriented setting.

International politics is for us an important aspect of culture and is reflected in our regular offering of panel discussions and seminars. These are hosted by experts and professionals who are active in international politics and policy. One issue that we deem especially important is environmentalism. Through lectures and films, we explore environmentally related problems and developments, with an aim to presenting their broader impact around the world.

Our diverse and rich potential stems from a network of contacts and partners in over 50 colleges and universities spread out over five continents.
